Camera phones are probably the
fastest growing aspect of the cell phone world and are already
outselling regular digital cameras.
Video capable and camera phones are well on their
way to becoming one of the most popular consumer electronic
devices ever created. It is clear that camera phones are here to
stay, they are being integrated into the everyday lives of their
users
The image quality still does not match up with what
you would get from even a low-level digital camera, but they are
perfectly fine for a quick snapshot. |
There is no question that camera
phones are taking over the handset market, although, there is
still a lot of progress to be made, the better camera phones are
mostly showing up in Asia. For example: the camera phones in
Japan are designed to set off an electronic ring when the
shutter is pressed, warning everyone nearby that a photograph is
being taken.
In addition, mega-pixel camera
phones just coming to the market this summer, they can
print an image with reasonable quality.
Now the technologies grown out of
ever smaller digital cameras into video capable camera phones,
they are popping up with wireless carriers pushing photography
and multimedia services in the US. |
